In order to repay the passion for the Korean language shown by approximately 1,800 applicants last year,

We are holding the ‘ 3rd Foreigners’ Korean Speaking Contest ’ with increased prize money and a special opportunity called the ‘ Korea Times Internship ’.

 

This competition is a prestigious event where the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Award is presented, and this year , the total prize money (12 million won) and compared to last year

We have prepared to expand the number of winners (20) so that more students can benefit.

· Application Period: February 26 – May 7

Results Announcement: May 26 (Korea Times print and website)

· Eligibility: Any foreigner or overseas Korean whose native language is Korean

· Pronunciation: Korean Tongue Twister Challenge

 

[How to apply]

· Video production and upload: Upload the video to your social media (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, etc.) with the required hashtags.

· Application Submission: Complete the online application and submit the video link via the application page.

1. Internship Opportunity: One domestic university (graduate) student among the winners will be provided with a summer internship at the Korea Times Video Team.
